Compassion and genuine concern for the people – those were the reasons why Aiko decided to run for office as a councilor in Quezon City. Her genuine concern and care for the less fortunate drove her to run for public office so that she may be able to help them out in a very active way.
As a public servant, Aiko was dedicated and enthusiastic and even now, her former constituents still thank her for all the projects that she has done and started in their area.
Though no longer in public office, Aiko still helps out the community as a private citizen. She participates actively in charitable works and consistently teaches and guides her children to live the values she has learned while she was in office.
